I came to Rick's to have them inspect a used vehicle I was thinking about purchasing from a lot down the road. They had time to take it right when I could get there. I sat in their waiting room, and noticed that they had free cookies, water and various other amenities. They also had an area of kids books and coloring tools. That room alone showed me that they care about their customers. After I fell asleep in about 5 seconds flat, I was woken up by a technician saying my name. He took me to the back shop, where the car was up on a lift. He proceeded to coordinate what he found on the car with the printed itemized list in his hands. I know a bit about cars, but he didn't know that. He still explained everything in a way that expressed each item's severity. He was very honest about everything. Being guided around the car while it was still in the air was so much help! Back in the office, I paid the inspection fee, and thanked them for their help, and they gave me a rose. He said they give one to every customer. I had just gotten married a week ago, and she loved the rose. I've lived in Elkhart for almost 6 years, and haven't been able to find a good, honest, regular mechanic. That stretch is over. Rick's will be getting my service until I move away, or until we all get around by teleportation, haha! ALSO!...that lifetime oil change deal is crazy! Crazy good, that is.
